Laminitis is a difficult but common and potentially crippling disease of equines. Well known local farrier Graham Harland will give an in depth lecture on this condition and its effect on the horses foot, and perform a hoof dissection to further illustrate his talk. He will be joined by Paula Holt a diabetes healthcare expert and also Sarah Rushby an equine nutritionist who will further elucidate our understanding of laminitis.
This event is open to anyone but tickets are free to HCTG and to under 18 BMPC members, all others are £5 . All proceeds will be gifted to the Hope Pasture Equine Rescue Centre and there will be a bucket to collect fro them so please give what you can. Hot drinks and cakes will be on sale with proceeds also going to this charity.
We look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be a most insightful evening.
