We hold regular small dressage competitions, indoors during winter and outdoors in summer, these are limited to club members and give a valuable introduction to novice riders and / or young horses in a calm, friendly atmosphere...

To add a bit of a challenge we operate a points systems and divide the riders into 3 leagues according to their ability with rosettes on the day and trophies at the end of the year for the most successful combinations.

Possibly a unique feature of our competitions is that there is only one 'class' but a choice of tests everything form Preliminary to Advanced, makes for interesting judging! the winner are decided on best percentage from up to to two tests.  Thus as frequently happens a more advanced combination can be beaten by a lower level rider. 

Jumping practice sessions are also held, again valuable experience for the inexperienced among us.
