The British Riding Club movement divides the country into Areas - HCTG is in Area 4...

Each Area organises a number of annual interclub competitions culminating in the National Championships for qualifying teams and individuals.

bulletFestival of the Hunter - Show and Working Hunter classes for individuals and two levels of team Hunter Trials.
bulletArea One Day Event - Novice and Open Team competition.
bulletArea Show - Team Dressage, Show-jumping, Equitation Jumping and Riding Test.  Individual competitions for Medium Dressage, Freestyle Dressage to Music, and Pairs dressage.

bulletQuadrille
bulletTeam of Six
bulletRural Riders - an International Intermediate standard Horse Trial.

We do not have the specialised interest required for the Quadrille or the Team of Six but our current Chairman was part of the medal winning British Rural Riders team in 2000.
